Objectives

• Develop knowledge and skills of local grass roots level NGOs
• Mobilize funds for institutional and financial sustainability of NGO programmes
• Introduce and integrate planning, monitoring and evaluation systems as a learning tool to improve organizational performance among partner organizations

Major activities

• Strategic organizational planning
• Project planning workshops
• Fund raising workshops
• Training in knowledge, skills and attitude of Manthan staff
• Conduct exposure visits
• Promote self development through reading books/ material
• International Organizations, Government, Corporate and individuals will be contacted for fund raising.
• Short listing Funding Organizations/ Individuals
• Publicity
• Establishment of Research & Development unit and publication unit
• Establishment of Monitoring & Evaluation unit (at project as well as NGO level) (Indian Association of Evaluation)
